said:well that's kinda right. but Abdul kader is the best unfortunately. we pray to have another Saleh Almany. i've read all of Harry Potter series in english to keep away from bad translation.
by the way i enjoyed lot the 2nd chapter. the artcle of Galal about Bosfur.
regards
no doubt that English books should be read in English.. unfortunately, also books in foriegn languages! I think I'm gonna try Orhan Bamuk's english editions next time.
I liked the 2nd chapter too, I think Orhan is so good at description and metaphor, not as many writers who are boring and shallow when it comes to this.

I'm still reading it because I had to stop for a while and read "زمن الخيول البيضاء" ..
so far it's very good.. the translation to arabic is bad. But still I'm enjoying Orhan's ideas, characters and events..

Yes, I like it even more..
I havn't started to read it yet, I still have a long list of books that I bought and not read yet.

i've read about it too the it's the same level of " my name is red" so we will like it.
actually i trust him and believe that i won't regret reading any of his works. he is one of few writers who won Nobel and deserve that.

I say, besides he's Orhan Pamuk, there's no such thing as a "bad book".. there's always something you can learn about any book.
it might be less good than "My name is red" or "the black book" but I'm sure it's good!

i was searching for comments about "The black book", i'm currently reding it and i think it's a great book. i like Bamouk and i read most of his books too, i just missed"Snow" and his earlier novels Like"Gawdat Bek". i think he is beside Mahfouz,Marquez,Kafka, Chekov and Dystovesky.
